    1. Analysis
      “Hospitality and Tourism” is the type of ESP I had to analyze. The teacher is going to give information about Tourist Information Centres. The name of the lesson is Tourist Information Centres. And it was written by Keith Harding.
      The lesson plan is oriented, mainly, for Elementary students who are in their teens (16 years old proximately) but it can be also used for Pre-Intermediate students.
      Keith Harding, tried to achieve this lesson plan in 90 minutes. It consisted into five main aspects; warm-up, vocabulary, speaking, more expresions related to prepositions and a role play or simulation activity. The language objective for this lesson was to develop and practice spoken forms for giving information and, also, how to formulate polite questions.
      The materials used for this lesson plan were;
       1 (one) copy of worksheet 1 for each student.
       1 (one) copy of worksheet 2 per pair, cut into strips.
       3 X role play worksheet.
      During the warm-up, the teacher is going to elicit students to guess the new topic by doing a short speaking activity. This activity involves a whole-class work.
      During the second step, the teacher is going to present new vocabulary. Here we have a mixture of Use of English and writing. Finally the teacher is going to help his students by providing more examples, and by checking understanding and pronunciation. This last step can be considered as a speaking activity. This activity is mainly an individual activity, because the student has first to work alone.
      The third activity is developed into four stages. The teacher practices speaking by making students work in a short dialogue. This activity is developed in pair work, where two students have to develop and practice a dialogue.
      The following activity is useful to practice vocabulary, an excellent way of having students practicing Use of English. Then, the teacher is going to ask some questions where student may answer them orally, in order to practice speaking or by writing them in order to practice writing. This activity is first thought for individual work, later we can find a teacher-student exchange.
      Finally, students are asked to perform a role play game or activity. Students have to complete a form with their personal, or false, information and then practice it. The activity is useful to practice speaking, writing and make use of the new vocabulary learnt in the lesson. The teacher is going to check mistakes and pronunciation. This activity is developed into two big groups.
      The activity that it caught my attention was the role play activity. I find out that students learn better by working with this kind of activities. The group dynamic is different and more enjoyable. Although the teacher is monitoring and guiding students, they have their own time to think, produce and practice the language. So, it is a great way to prove students’ imagination.
